Bipasha Basu not in 'Raaz 2'?

'Raaz' is among the big hits of sultry beauty Bipasha Basu's career. While the Bhatts' are planning a second part of 'Raaz', reports are that Bipasha may not be a part of it. There has been speculation going on for long it Bipasha will be doing 'Raaz 2' or not. Producer Mukesh Bhatt had earlier wanted to sign in Bipasha for the lead role but it seems the idea has been dropped now. The change has come owing to the script by Shagufta Rafique, as she has found no loose ends in the climax of 'Raaz' to carry the story forward in the sequel. She has penned an entirely new story and thus 'Raaz 2' will not be a sequel to 'Raaz'. Emraan Hashmi will play the male lead in the film and eventually the hunt for a new face for the female lead is on. The film will be directed by Mohit Suri and not by Vikram Bhatt who directed 'Raaz'. However it'll be a thriller with supernatural elements.
