By: The Hitlist team
Fashoin magazine L'Officiel is out with its first Bollywood special edition. With a theme that speaks of the influence of fashion on Bollywood and vice-versa, the magazine has Karan Johar as the guest editor, while Manish Malhotra has closely worked on designing and executing the features.
Apart from the content, the cover for the magazine has Shah Rukh Khan shooting with fashion models for the first time. Shot by Atul Kasbekar, the photograph has SRK wearing a sharp black suit and crisp white shirt. The reason, according to Atul, was inspired by SRK's upcoming release, Om Shanti Om and reincarnation, so his concept was to show him going from black to white, from darkness to light.
Apart from SRK, another actor doing a photo story is Priyanka Chopra. In The Red Carpet, she portrays an actress evading the paparazzi in a series of beautiful red-carpet couture gowns and diamond jewels. Chopra is dressed as the starlet arriving on the red carpet for a movie premiere or an A-list party, in elegant gowns from the latest collections by Valentino, Christian Dior, Tarun Tahiliani, JJ Valaya and others.
The special Bollywood edition hits the stands on September 20.
