Meet Salman the 'misunderstood' man of Bollywood
Often tagged as the 'Controversy's Child' or the 'Bad Boy' of Bollywood, ironically his co-stars seem to think otherwise and always have! So, what is it in Sallu that makes him so likeable? We spoke to Sallu's co-stars from Marigold to get the real picture and contemplate the allegations posed against Sallu…
Salman makes his co-stars uncomfortable?
When Hollywood meets Bollywood, sparks are bound to fly… and that's what happened when Ali Larter met apna Sallu bhai!
Yes, we know that first impressions don't mean anything Ali but that doesn't make us ignore the fact that you hated Salman Khan the first time you guys met!
"Ali Larter and I shared a hate at first sight relationship. The first time Ali met me, I could tell that she hated me!" said Sallu. To confirm the news when we asked Ali about the same the blonde bombshell nodded in affirmative saying, "Oh yes! When I first met him, he was just behaving very badly for the first few hours! But I think he was just pulling my leg. He loved making me uncomfortable and showing off that he was a rock star in India!

Sources closely associated with the film said, "After initial rough phase Ali and Salman got together like a house on fire! They went our partying with other friends and Ali loved indulging in the yummy home cooked food that Salman used to get for everyone. They all used to sit in Salman's vanity van and would enjoy the lunching sessions… Salman even helped her converse in Hindi and when Ali wanted to take home one of the Indian bridal wear outfits she wore in the film and wasn't allowed, so Sallu got another one stitched for her, which looked just like the original!

Its not just Ali who got along with Salman, actor Suchitra Pillai, who plays Rani, Sallu's best friend in the film was also smitten by the kind hearted Khan of Bollywood.
Suchitra says, "Initially everyone on the sets were scared of Salman as he is known as this brat and bad boy of Bollywood but soon we realized that he is in fact extremely disciplined. He threw no temper tantrums, nor was he moody. He was always in a good mood and so was Ali who in spite of being a Hollywood actor was extremely down to earth.
Its not just Ali who got along with Salman, actor Suchitra Pillai, who plays Rani, Sallu's best friend in the film was also smitten by the kind hearted Khan of Bollywood.

And for all those gossip mongers who went on talking about Ali's intimacy with Sallu, our sources claim that there was nothing brewing between the two as Katrina would often accompany beau Salman on the sets! Ali and Salman shared great friendship though. Even Suchitra clears the issue saying, "Salman was attentive to all of us as he was towards Ali. He would often get gifts for all of us too! He played a fabulous host to the Hollywood crew."
Suchitra also recalls how Salman invited everyone over at his Bandra residence for the screening of the film. He told me "Our friendship has come out very well" after we saw the film together says the lovely mom-to-be.

And Salman used to deliberately ask all in front of Willard, "Didn't sleep well?"
All in all this is how Ali Larter would like to sum up Salman Khan – "He was and is a brat! There are no two ways about it. But he is also a very misunderstood and extremely kind hearted guy. He helped me being comfortable on the sets. Since I didn't know Hindi, he helped me communicate with the local people and also introduced me to yummy food that his mom used to send for us on the sets. He is a great person."
