Arshad Warsi in the running

Munna Bhai's side-kick, Circuit, and former Indian Big Boss host Arshad Warsi has made it to the top of the list. The actor's sense of humour and also his latest extended stay in UK for shooting Goal have helped Warsi edge out the others.

A source close to the show confirmed the news. "Yes they are looking at male stars now. Obviously with the kind of response Shilpa generated it was obvious that they would want to repeat the performance. Arshad seems like a guy who would get along with most people… but he is not the only one in the running. The producers are looking at some other stars as well," says the source.

We have learnt that among the names short listed are Akshaye Khanna, Gulshan Grover, Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan and Shahid Kapur.

Arbaaz says he isn't completely against the idea of going into the house. "First and foremost I don't know if I am in the running. No one has told me. But considering how well Shilpa has done, I think it is a bit encouraging but I don't know if I will go but. It would all depend on when it is and what my commitments are that point," says Khan.

The season is expected to begin in early 2008 and amongst the international celebrities Paris Hilton has shown a lot of interest to be a part of the show. Maybe knowing that will make it easier for our actors to say a yes!
