https://www.expressindia.com TADA special judge P D Kode on Tuesday sentenced the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt to six years of rigorous imprisonment under the Arms Act for illegal possession of weapons that were given to him by associates of gangster Dawood Ibrahim ahead of the 1993 serial blasts. Fate of Sanjay Dutt's friends Yusuf Nullwala: Sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for five years under the Arms Act. He was convicted for being in possession of one AK-56 rifle and 9 mm pistol and trying to destroy it.
Rusi Mulla: Convicted for aiding actor Sanjay Dutt to destroy an AK-56 rifle, got the benefit of Probation of Offenders Act and has been granted relief. He has to pay a sum of Rs 1 lakh and a surety of same amount to be released.
Kersi Adajenia: Guilty under Arms Act for being in possession of one AK-56 rifle and 9 mm pistol and trying to destroy it; faces punishment between 5-10 years has been awarded two years of RI.
Sanjay Dutt Group Ibrahim Moosa Chauhan alias Baba Chauhan: sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined Rs 2.75 lakh for distributing AK-56 rifles, magazines and hand-grenades to actor Sanjay Dutt and deceased accused Salim Kurla at the instance of gangsters Anees Ibrahim and Abu Salem. Chauhan was found in possession of one AK-56 rifle, 6 rounds of ammunition, 7 magazines and 25 hand grenades
Manzoor Ahmed: sentenced to 10 years' RI and fined Rs 50,000. He was convicted for carrying AK-56 rifles, ammunition and hand-grenades at the instance of Abu Salem and delivering the same to Zaibunissa Kadri at her residence. He also delivered the same to Sanjay Dutt's residence
Samir Hingora: Film producer, sentenced to 9 years' RI and fined Rs 2 lakh for distributing 3 AK-56 rifles and magazines to Sanjay Dutt at the instance of absconding accused and key conspirator, Anees Ibrahim
Zaibunnisa Kadri: sentenced to five years' RI and fined Rs 1 lakh for keeping AK-56 rifles, ammunition and grenades

• Mustaq Tarani: planted an RDX-laden scooter in Dhanji street. Also planted an RDX-laden suitcase in Centaur Hotel, Juhu injuring 3
• Iqbal Shaikh: drove convict Nasim Barmare to Sahar airport where he lobbed hand-grenades causing some damage; also parked an RDX-laden scooter at Naigaum Cross Road, but there was no explosion
• Farooq Pawale: planted vehicle bombs near the Air-India building, killing 20, and at Lucky Petrol pump near Sena Bhavan, in Central Mumbai, killing 4
• Yakub Memon: A chartered accountant, he fled to Dubai three days before the blasts. He made the financial and logistical arrangements for the serial blasts. He was sentenced to death.
