Bollywood star John Abraham has become a global ambassador for Habitat for Humanity and has launched the 'Join John's Brigade' to help build homes for people currently living in inadequate shelters.

Speaking about lending his name to the cause John says he is inviting everyone – his fans, friends, family, students to Join John's Brigade. "It's a great feeling to work for a dream… Which will bring pride to yourself and a decent home to a poor person living in a dilapidated shelter," writes the star.
John further adds that there are over 300 million Indians who lack proper homes and hopes that he can help build better homes for the homeless. "Now is the time - to join hands – and work together with Habitat for Humanity India, as we change the lives of many people living in unsanitary and unsafe dwellings. We are helping these unfortunate people, by working with them to build safe, decent and affordable homes."
