Shooting in New Zealand for a Hollywood film, Celina Jaitley is homesick and lonely. When we called her after her day's work was over, Celina said: "Oh I am having a blast here. It's true that I am missing home, but I am very impressed with the professionalism here."
But a friend of Celina's said that the actress was in misery. "She is a very home-loving person, and she is very attached to her mom. She has been saying she wants to return home and have ghar ka khana," the friend said.
Though the hazel-eyed actress wants to come home immediately, she can't leave her shoot. "Celina is very professional and she is enjoying working with the team. So long as she is shooting, she doesn't think of home, but once they pack up, she feels lonely and wants to come back to Mumbai," says her friend.
Celina has been shooting non-stop in New Zealand for her first international film Love Has No Language for more than a month. She is expected to finish and return only at the end of July.
Shooting begins at 4 in the morning and continues into late evening. "She doesn't even get time to party or chat with friends because she needs to report early on the sets," her friend said.
After a series of failures at the box office, Celina clinched the international project. She plays Indian-origin Marina Roy, who has lived her whole life in New Zealand with her Indian parents who have a conservative mindset. There is a difference of perspective and ideologies between Marina and her parents. Kiwi actor Ben Mitchell stars opposite Celina in the film.
