Big B attends carpenter's daughter's wedding

Amitabh Bachchan had promised his carpenter Anil Gupta that he would be present for his daughter's marriage and he kept his promise.

Bachchan attended the wedding this week at Juhu. Anil has been working as Big B's carpenter for 30 years and played a major role in decorating Jalsa and Pratiksha.

Amitabh was accompanied by wife Jaya Bacchan. Kirron Kher and Amrita Singh were amongst the others to attend the marriage. Anil was very happy to see him and the other celebrity guests.

Big B was present there for quite some time and interacted with many of the other guests. Amitabh and Jaya also gave presents to the couple and blessed them.

Known for being loyal to ones close to him, Amitabh has done two Bhojpuri movies for his make up man Deepak Sawant and is also doing a film for Suhaag director Romesh Sharma to relaunch his son Karan Sharma without charging any fee.

agar woh apne carpenter ki beti ki shaadi mein gaya to kaun si badi baat hai? media walon ko aur koi kaam nahi hai? of course you are bound to go to marriages of your near including servants, people who work for you,entertainment media must stop writing boring news 🤢

That is really sweet !

At least reporting of such kinds of gesture still keeps faith in good journalism, and that goodness does exist.

Much better than reading Ash visiting Abhi because she wanted to spy on him... 🤢

Lovely article, Im glad there's something new written about the Bachchans and not the usual crap Big B/SRK war, or the Abhi/Ash saga.

As for Amitji thats the best present he could have gave to any wedding, by showing his presence, wow that anil guy was fortunate. From what I have read and seen Amitji has always come across as pleasant, benevolent and thoughtful so this article doesnt suprise me.
