Abhishek's heroine divorced within a year of marriage
Starlet Keerthi Reddy, who had debuted opposite Abhishek Bachchan in his second flick, Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya (2000) has divorced her actor hubby, Sumanth less than one year after their marriage.

Our source informs, "There are all kinds of stories doing the rounds that led to the divorce. Keerthi's upbringing in the lap of luxury is being cited as one of the reasons, which caused a rift between the couple. As Andhra top politician Ganga Reddy's granddaughter, she had enjoyed all the comforts money could offer and was finding it difficult to cope up with an actor hubby, who was struggling to find his foothold in the Telugu film industry.
"It is also being said that, Keerthi wanted to start a chain of beauty parlours across the country and even host a talk show on television as she had given up her acting career and wanted to do something constructive with her time. She wanted her husband to help her by funding these projects and start the business as soon as possible. But, Sumanth who unlike his well-to-do star uncle, (Sumanth is South star Nagarjuna's nephew) is still working hard to make it big in the industry, was against it."
Ironically, this will be the second divorce in the Akkineni family. Actor Nagarjuna separated from his first wife, Lakshmi, daughter of film producer D.Ramanaidu. During her Bollywood stint, Keerthi was linked with then model now turned actor Aryan Vaid who had done a music video with her, the remix version of song - Bin Tere Sanam.
Apart from the Abhishek starrer, Keerthi had also done some forgettable flicks like, Rajiv Rai's Pyar, Ishq Aur Mohabbat and Badhai Ho Badhai. With zero success in Bollywood, she went down South and acted in a few films there. She married her long-standing boyfriend of six years, actor Sumanth in a ceremony in Hyderabad.
When we tried contacting Keerthi, she refused to comment. She is currently in Bangalore with her mother who lives there.
