Abhishek Bachchan postpones the shoot of Lagaa Chunari… to June, thanks to his honeymoon. 'Good friend' Rani is miffed

Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherji in Yuva Abhishek Bachchan has postponed the shooting of Pradeep Sarkar's next from May to June. Rani Mukherji seems to have not taken kindly to it since the actress will have to reschedule her own dates now. After his lavish, much extended honeymooning, Abhishek Bachchan will film for Pradeep Sarkar's Lagaa Chunari Mein Daag. In the film, the actor will share crucial scenes with so-called good friend Rani Mukerji and a few with mom Jaya. If sources are to be believed, things are not too well between Abhishek and Rani. Rani who has also been extremely close to Amitabh Bachchan, was kept out of the wedding. She also had to adjust her dates with that of Abhishek's and this is when she lost her cool. A source says, "Rani has been tight-lipped about this extremely unpleasant situation. The Bachchans completely ignored her." Close friends of Rani inform that the actress is disheartened but prefers to maintain a stoic silence. In the recent past she had refused to comment when she was asked about the brewing romance between Abhishek and Aishwarya. "Rani is happy for Abhishek. She even sent her wishes to Abhishek and Aishwarya during the wedding. But she is not exactly looking forward to the shoot," says a source close to the actress. A source from Yashraj Films adds, "The actors will have to work together in spite of all the issues. We're sure that both Rani and Abhishek will do a good job. They are wonderful actors at the end of the day." However, Pradeep Sarkar denied any such awkwardness between the two actors. He says, "Abhishek was always supposed to shoot in June. There are no problems and you have to call me later as I'm busy in a shot."

i doubt rani will call any trouble now...after all teh bitching going on about her like everywhere...if she does this....this will just add more bitching....and she wants to stay away from all that...(she hardly said a word on kwk becuz of this)...i doubt she has any problems...cuz even we knew that abhi was to get back to work in june long b4....im sure rani wud have known as well 😕 i mean....i dont think his schedule was moved...

I won't blame her for going through all this! I mean, Rani already had to reschedule her dates once..and again?? Thanks to Abhishek! Does he not understand that she TOO is busy.

I agree... not really proffessional of him to postpone shooting dates and ruin co-actors dates too

Good point. I wonder if they had to reschedule the earlier shootings as well. I believe the wedding date was originally set for sometime in February.

But its cos of his wedding and in some people's case, that comes once in a lifetime. I think Rani is open-minded enough to understand and the media is just making a big deal over nothing.
