She chatted with the media recently.
Excerpts of her chat:
Do you have an affair?
Since my school days till date I have had no affair and I think all of you have definitely seen me playing the love and romance scenes on the screen. However, there hasn't been any need of it in my personal life.
Hasn't some one proposed to you?
Yes, it is true. Once a young man leaned on me to express his love for me but I was stunned to see this because it was the first time that someone had proposed to me in this way. At that moment I was unable to decide over this if I should laugh at him or flee away or accept it.
What do think about love?
At present, I haven't thought about it but if I think at all I will surely take inspiration from my parents.
Do you feel comfortable with love scenes in the film?
Each and every scene of the film is an imagination of a writer or a director. I try my best to infuse life into their imagination until the director is satisfied with my rehearsal.
Which is your best movie so far?
There are many films but I like 'Na Tum Jano Na Hum' because of its wonderful love-scene in the end. Such a scene has rarely been enacted in any film till date.
How did you feel while playing the scene of an arranged marriage?
I felt good to play the role of a girl who undergoes an arranged marriage in 'Just Married'. It is the dream of every girl that she gets married. And, one gets a different type of experience when one's marriage is arranged by parents.
Are you ready for an arranged marriage?
No, I don't believe in marriage. Marriage hampers the growth of one's professional life. In any case I will prefer a person whom I love.
Your parents' love is a real story in the industry. Are you not influenced by them?
There is nothing as such. I love my parents a lot . I shall like the couple of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan in Bollywood because both are beautiful.
Does your mother advise you in this respect ?
Yes, she tells me that I shouldn't think of love for any body until I have properly understood that person .
Just speak about your younger sister?
She likes her Guru and reads the book of psychology a lot. She looks beautiful while she speaks.
