I dont think women in general despise Ash for her beauty.Because they dont despise the other gorgeous ladies like Hema Malini,Madhuri etc.

Ash's personality isnt liked by many,she's too defensive,too fake,one NEVER really gets to connect with the REAL Ash..Even on a show like Rendezvous(which is all about opening up),Ash is SO defensive and so GUARDED,and tries SO hard to be "perfect",that it backfires completely.She's afterall human,but she tries to be an angel,which renders her fake.Her incessant and irrelevant giggling is another bete noire,she giggles whenever she has no answer to a question,which makes her look dumb..Added to that,her "Scotland meets New York" accent is another off-putting trait.

I'm no big fan of Sush either,I find her to be pretty annoying too.She talks too much.But compared to Ash,Sush is more well spoken and she comes across as intelligent.Had I not been of Indian origin,and had someone told me that Sush or Lara was Miss Universe,I would have believed,but had someone told me that Ash(or Priyanka) was Miss.World,I would have found it VERY hard to buy.

Hema and Madhuri are yesteryear actresses so I do not think the present generation feels they are competition...😆😆( This is all mindless fun ...do not take this too seriously..)

And if Aishwarya is guarded then so are so many celebrities including Rani Mukerji who always is so diplomatic..and I feel it is a quality to be appreciated ..and I feel that it makes Aishwarya quite normal..since no one wants unnecessary meddling in their personal lives..It makes her dignified ..just as Rani acts with dignity..

It might be entertaining for us to know about their personal lives but I am sure actors want to filter as much as possible..

I find Aishwarya irritating sometimes as an actress...but at other times like in Choker Bali ..she was awesome ...

If someone aims for perfection..why should I hate them..I like Aamir for this very reason..😊

I dont think girls dislike her because they are jealous.Its just that Ash is annoying and she comes across as SUPER fake.I agree many other actresses are diplomatic too,but they dont come across as fake....Rani on KWK was diplomatic,but she wasnt as annoying as Ash was on Rendezvous......Besides,Rani's life hasnt been as much publicised as Aishwarya's,and though Rani was rumoured to be with many men,none of those rumours lasted for a long time,so it was easy for rani to dismiss them as plain rumours..

Ash in the pursuit of aiming for perfection,comes across as artificial.She just pushes the entire being Ms.Goody Two Shoes act too far.Being dignified is one thing,being downright GUARDED and FAKE is another..Sush,Preity,Lara,Bipasha etc too have alot of Dignity,and the price of dignity isnt surely "the loss of one's own individuality"

Though I still like Ash despite all these flaws which I perceive in her,because somewhere deep down,Ash just seems to be simple and highly insecure girl...

Nothing against Ash .. she s beautiful n intelligent too

but to me Sush is incomparable .. she's someone every woman should be proud of .! not only is she immensly talented but shes also got such a warm personality .. very very likeable and more friendly to people than Ash or most other celebrities r. She's also very mature , wise n intelligent .. she 's classy n posh n well mannered and she speaks really well .. so u can probably guess how much i admire her n what a great fan i am .

i just wish she'd get a chance to prove her worth in good films ..
