'Rob-B-Hood' - Premiere

Premiere of movie 'Rob-B-Hood' at PVR Cinema, Juhu, Mumbai on 7th March 07. The film features a trickster trio notoriously known as the 'Thieving Muskateers', consisting of Slipper (Jackie Chan), Landlord (Michael Hui) and Octopus (Louis Koo). A 'dream team' with a greyhound's nose for money or costly treasures, they are like a bullet out of a gun whenever an opportunity for a heist comes. However, rape and pillage is out of the question, as their principle is never to intentionally hurt anyone. Inspector Steve Mok (Yuen Biao) has been on their trail for a long time, but knowing that they are not vicious felons, he doesn?t want to draw blood. One day, what appears to be the perfect heist comes their way - only it?s a moving or rather, cooing target. Man Yee, sole heiress to the distinguished Ding Family?s fortunes, has given birth to a boy - Matthew. However, before her parents and hubby Calvin (Andrew Lin) have a chance to celebrate, he is snatched away by Man Yee?s ex-boyfriend Max (Terence Yin), who in a state of jealous delusion, thinks Matthew is his own flesh-and-blood. An unfortunate accident leads to Max?s untimely death. Max?s father, a mafia boss is out to take revenge, but more importantly, to regain custody of his 'grandson'. A reward of 30 million for the kidnapping of a tiny told sounds like an offer that the thieving trio cannot refuse. However, one thing snowballs into another, landing everyone into a moral dilemma and a dangerous quandary. Slipper enlists the help of nurse Melody to babysit Matthew, and falls in love with her. Landlord?s childless wife embraces the baby as her own and refuses to let go. Octopus? devoted girlfriend Bak Yin (Charlene Choi) discovers she is pregnant. And adorable Matthew has made his way into everyone?s heart, so they have to choose between the ransom and their conscience.
