just wanted to add tht we cant rly arrive at a "conclusion" abt this...itz pretty evident tht there r ppl who luv srk and who beleive tht his magic and charm will stay forever...and there r ppl who dont appreciate his sense of humor and talent...u cant just arrive at conclusions from one perspective saying it is the same or it is not the same..nothing is rly right or wrong here...only time will tell...those who bleive in his ability think tht he will reach great heights..those who dislike him dont miss a chance to mock him down..lets see😊

xactly..it isn't really her fault if she wants 2 jus xpress her opinion...jus coz shes d admin dusnt mean she has no rite not 2 say wat she feels. its upto us 2 make sure we keep fites out of dis dicussion...n one thing..many ppl mentioned bout amitabh bachcan being a big star n SRKs magic not being dere 4ever...well,one important point 2 note here...d fact dat even after being in dis industry n still managing 2 pull in d crowds at dis time shows srk is a star 4ever..in ABs time, how many mega actors were dere? sanjeev kumar,dharmendra, n AB. n m talkin bout d mainstream stars here, d really big ones. we had ppl like amol palekar,but dey never turned 2 masala movies..dey stuck 2 middle-class movies... in 2days times,dere is tremedous competition...saif,hrithik,aamir, abhishek...dey're all actors who can fit into ne kind of role...no ones categorising actors 2day like dey did in d past...srk has still managed 2 stay on d top, n still managed 2 retain d charm in his movies...he may hav a certain image,but d fact dat hes able 2 get ppl 2 luv his movies wid dat image, shows his strength. m not bashing AB here or nething..but m jus supporting srk..i greatly respect amitabh and i absolutely luv sum of his movies...but m jus sayin dat dere cant be jus one legend..AB is a legend on one side, n SRK on d oder...u cant compare...

First of all, let me make it very clear that this thread was not posted to put down SRK the Actor... All know that SRK has been the King and even remains now.. This topic was started to talk about certain points about the Filmfare and also to discuss whether SRK needs to experiment more, so that his magic survives forever.. Every actor gets into this phase, where Age starts to catch up, so he needs to stop doing the roles he was known for.. So this is a time where he needs to think and experiment, so that he does something new, at the same time, does something that the audience accepts.. So this was basically the Tagline for discussion in this particular post...

Yes, This thread is now developed like anything with all taking part. so somewhere along the line, the focus kept shifting, few pages talked about SRK the anchor, then we moved to SRK the actor, then to Big B the actor, then to the Bachchans, then to Dilip Saab, etc etc... So this switch is bound to happen whenever a thread like this is open... In such situations, what we need to do is, express our opinion in the neatest way possible... Yes, you all are entitled to speak your mind, talk openly. But the beauty here lies in the way you present your thoughts..

Yes, there were few comments here, about the Admin of the Forum opening this particular topic.. So, let me clarify, being in the Dev Team does not mean that we do not have the right to talk our mind, right to flag-off a particular discussion. Yes, its our duty to see to it that all the discussions happen in a healthy way, we need to get in and handle the situation when the atmosphere looks a bit shaky...

So just cool down... This thread was never put up to demoralise or put down an actor or his work... But we need to understand that whenever we have discussions of this magnitude, we have people talking for and against the particular topic.. so we need to just reply and argue , but always remember that we should not be rude in wahtever we write..

This thread had reached 60 pages yesterday, but i was really happy that all the arguments were happening in such a nice way, with a healthy atmosphere to it.. But today, i find that few of us are going a little overboard.. So friends, just try to cool down... I know there is no conclusion to topics like this, but if at all, you want to pen more, try to write it in the neatest way possible...
