This might be for one location or specific region. Maddock doesn’t mention it in any of their social media posts, nor do any other big accounts like they usually do.

Went to watch this because my cousins lured me in with $5 tickets. Spoiler: even at that price, I overpaid.
The movie itself? Mid. Storyline had zero layers, zero impact, zero anything. The songs? Equally mid. One slow number was kinda cute, but the rest just existed like filler tracks on an album nobody asked for.
Now, Sid… whew. This man literally carried the movie on his sexy shoulders like it was Olympic weightlifting. The charm? Off the charts. He didn’t just act, he radiated through my soul. It felt like the director finally realized, “Oh wait, we actually have a star here, let’s just point the camera at him.” And it worked. Every frame with him was magnetic. Every frame without him was a nap.
Janhvi though… my god, where do I start. Her acting felt like she was reading cue cards in her head the whole time. Two scenes showed a spark, but the rest? Painfully dull. There’s “acting,” and then there’s pretending to act — and she was firmly stuck in the latter. Every emotional beat looked rehearsed, like she practiced crying in the mirror and thought, “nailed it.” Spoiler: she didn’t. She’s done too much plastic surgery to emote.
Also that song lyric that compared her to looking like YRF’s Chandni - pure comedy. The funniest thing in the movie. The whole theatre cackled and scoffed at that. Imagine trying to be compared to a legendary Yash Raj heroine, who happens to be your mommy - and instead becoming the punchline. Brutal.
At this point, Kerala’s backwaters, trees, and random background extras were out-acting her. Even the wind rustling through the palm leaves had more conviction.
There were 3-4 funny moments, but otherwise I found myself zoning out — until Sid came back onscreen and reminded me why I hadn’t just walked out.
4/5 for Sid - I think this movie will give him a new lease of life in the industry.
1.5/5 for the movie itself
I also want him to call me a good girl and pats me 🤣😭 lucky Elephant.
