now driving and spending too much time on social media has taken a toll on my readings

i should go back to it, however no kindle and ebooks. i love the smell of that paper books. lets see..if Minty can drive me back to basic!

I read Enid Blyton as a kid too

Minty....like you I used to be an avid reader.......but wait till you have a hubby and 2 kids.....

I used to love Enid Blyton....they used to transfer me to another world.....Most of the books would start with.....it was a bright sunny warm day.....and having grown up in India...I always wondered ....what is so special about bright sunny day....humare Lucknow mein toh roz hota hai....years later when we moved to Michigan....brrr...I realized why it was special...

I have probably read every book by Sydney Sheldon, Danielle Steele....my favorites.....growing up it was Nancy Drew, Hardy Boy series, Mallory Towers.....High School with those silly Mills & Boons novels...

and yes....never missed, Champak, Nandan, Lotpot and Archie's...There are so many more but fir kabhi...

and ya Minty...you write so well.....always love to read your posts even if they are long....
