Watched the movie. Really think it held up to the first part. Enjoyed it thoroughly, loved the music !! Acting was superbbb !! Konkona and Fatima are such FAB actors !! Missed Irfan’s eccentricity, Pankaj is good as always, but the ‘edge’ that Monty’s char requires, Irfan would have suited so much more. Pankaj ji is such a cutiepie and ‘good’ man, it reflects in any of his portrayals. But Monty’s tharak and justifying that tharak seamlessly , it requires an actor of Irfan’s calibre really. Their story was also the best IMO. The touch of today’s 15-yr old kid’s confusion and their approach was also refreshing and eye-opener to many. They’r figure out stuff, we don’t have to worry ! Overall, my kinda movie; and LOVEDDDD IT !

Note - I am anyways a sucker of slice-of-life movies. So take that into consideration.

Baradwaj's reviews are those I like to read even though I may have another opinion about the movie he reviews. However, this time I missed that he didn't mention the lyrics (which certainly are very important).

When he reviewed Basu's Jagga Jasoos and Shirish's Jaan-e-Mann (which I both really liked, btw., and could well connect to), he mentioned the importance of giving attention to the words sung in the songs...

Just saw the movie .A worthy successor to the first part with ample moments that strike a chord .The first 30 minutes is spent building the set up which is why you do not really connect to the film but it gains momentum when the dots get connected.The four love stories have been handled deftly resultantly you are hooked after a point.

The entire part of Pankaj Tripathy and Konkana Sen Sharma is rip roaringly funny and mirrors the reality of today's time .The sequence at hotel especially brings the house down .The culmination to this story is pretty ground breaking.

The segment of Sara Ali Khan-Aditya Roy Kapoor has it's own charm .It follows the predictable path but thanks to their charm it works really well.They both look piping hot together.

The 3rd story of Anupam Kher -Neena Gupta is heart warming.Their reunion seems sweeter because of the long frenship that stood the test of time.

The 4th story of Alu-Fatima is bit of a weak link .Appears contrived and forced .The abortion portion is not really convincing .

Overall the film is pretty watchable.

Anurag Basu is a great director. I am so so happy that he has not lost his touch. Now we have a director,who actors can look forward to working with. I hope this film has a great run st the Box Office👍

A Refreshing Light hearted Beautiful film by Anurag Basu on Life's complexity we faced daily in our lives. 4 Stories, interlinked in complex way yet giving a positive vibe to live life in more relax way.

All Actors did a fab job as per their potential, music was good in parts. BUT BC woh bhi bade wala BC, this Super Annoying PRITAM was in whole film in songs, feautring as BAND, fukning super irritating. He spoiled all the music video, he spoiled the film for me.

Best couple was - Adi & Sara. Comic, Sweet & Refreshing.

2nd best - Anupam & Neena.

3rd one - Pankaj & Konkana

Last - Ali & Fatima.

Will share more in some time.
