Why most well known actors siblings fail in Bollywood? - Page 2

Not all failed but mostly one among the siblings is more popular...Raj, Shammi and Shashi had been successful siblings (in the past)... Sunny and Bobby Deol (although not their half-sibling Esha)... Pooja and Alia also have only the same father, Ishan and Shahid, too (they grew up separately).

One would have to make a survey among the respective siblings/families for the why, I suppose.

SRK's sister had started her studies when the father died...Shehnaz got ill and her mental health deteriorated even more after the mother died...since then she lives with SRK.

I don’t think there’s one sweeping formula or reason that applies to all. Aamir and Kajol are definitely more talented than their siblings. But I do think Arbaaz had talent, definitely more so than Salman. He just didn’t click with the audience. Ishaan is not a failure by any means. He may not become a Bollywood star like Shahid but he’ll have a solid career and will be recognized for his talent. Is Bhumi’s sister even interested in acting? Shilpa herself was a failed actor. Her claim to fame now is her marriage and her amazing figure. Kriti’s sister couldn’t even get one movie so yea I guess she failed.

Karishma debuted in the wrong era. Her marriage basically ended her career. Bebo is more talented than Karishma but more than that she really got lucky with timing and her personal life.

There’s always a debate about talent when it comes to Pooja and Alia. More than that I think Pooja neither had the ambition nor the godfather that Alia has. Ironic I know, specially given that Pooja was launched by their own father. That’s why Soni took Alia to KJo and Mahesh.

Yeah both Shilpa and Twinkle are failed actors but they had 10 times better career than their sisters. At least, they did lead roles on many movies and worked with the superstars but their sisters only get to do supporting roles or second lead roles. Shamita debuted in multi-starter movie Mohabbatein and then she only ended up doing small roles on other movies. Even Shilpa is a failed actress but she became quite popular by judging reality shows while Shamita ended up going to Bigg Boss.

I forgot that the biggest exception to this is not lolo bebo..it is Pooja and Alia..pooja actually was a flop actor and Alia is pan india's numero uno..it is definitely historic and against the narrative

Being Talented doesn't mean you are success, Ishaan is probable failure, bro is nearly 10 years in the industry. and I don't think even he has a single success apart from his debut film.

I am not calling Pooja a flop overall..she tasted success with filmmaking..i am talking about pooja the actor when i call her flop..her career as an actor never took off and i doubt she had any hits except for 1 or 2..total failure there
