I just watched an IV of Manisha. She said that she & SLB were friends since 1942 A love story in which SLB was working as assistant. He gave his Khamoshi script for Manisha to read & she loved it. She told SLB that his scripts has magic its so poetic. But she knows that SLB did not want her he wanted to cast Madhuri & Kajol for Khamoshi. She told SLB that if they rejected she will definitely do Khamoshi as she loved the role of Annie and the way SLB express his cinema. Both of rejected the role and he also faced many rejection from the industry during Khamoshi. Annie role came back to Manisha & the rest history

SLB mentioned that he faced only rejection but the 2 people who really believed in him and encourage in every step & helped him was Salman & Manisha . They never leave by his side & always there for him. He is always grateful to them

The IV was beautiful. I adore SLB Salman & Manisha friendship. They were there with him when he literally had nothing and believed in him & the friendship is still strong throughout

Khamoshi & Annie is made for Manisha only what a phenomenal performance its her best performance of her career and best role written in BW. Kajol & Madhuri are good actress but they cannot bring the soul of Annie. It was truly written for Manisha from performance to the innocent that Annie had in her and of course the beauty & gorgeous ethreal beauty of Annie

Khamoshi is SLB best work till date. The simplicity at its best that his current films lack & Annie is his best role written
