No I don't trust Ayan, judging by his last film Brahmastra, it's definitely doubtful that he's delivered a great product. However War2 relies on a lot of things, also RK and Hrithik's screen presence and star powers are not comparable, War itself had a mediocre script, Hrithik's screen presence elevated the movie, so I'm hoping the same in War 2. Fingers crossed 🤞. Also first time Ayaan is directing a superstar so let's see.

He's supposed to look like in late 40s or in 50s as major Kabir, which he actually is. Unlike other spies in the verse, Hrithik actually doesn't use VFX to look younger and that's why his character is more credible even in the storyline.

The shock of the initial teaser was NTR Junior. It just didn't look,feel, sound like a War franchise. Wrong cast/wrong director can kill a franchise. Look what Tiger did for War and Bobby,who with that one scene elevated Animal.Boobyans were born overnight.

Still Hrithik has aged the worst and his face looks really bad now! I have seen 50 year olds who look far far better than him and even Akshay looks younger than him
