I have work colleagues and friends who are Indian, and we would never stop talking to each other, because why should we? None of us were involved in what happend

In the aftermath of tragedy people have difficulty separating ordinary people from the actions of their government. And it gets exasperated when it’s encouraged by the government, directly or indirectly, because it helps take the focus off of government’s shortcomings in how they handle things.

Americans got so consumed by Islamophobia after 9/11 that they never really got passed it.

The Indian state / the Indian army has committed plenty of acts of terror in the Kashmir valley. This has happened regardless of who was in power at the Centre. Not just in Kashmir but in other places too whether it's in the North East or in Central India. Secondly plenty of Pakistanis lose their lives to terrorism themselves. Just about any Muslim person walking down a street in Islamabad could get blown up any day. Movie stars like Kareena or whoever boycotting Pak actors isn't gonna achieve anything. China killed so many of our people a while ago. Have we really cut all ties with China ? The encroachment is still going on at the border. Today it's Fawad or some designer. Tomorrow they'd ask you to stop eating dal keema. They'd call you a traitor for listening to Fareeda Khanum.

Kareena knows what she's doing. She'll be fine. After the next smear campaign against her and her kids settles down she'd fly to the Carribbean or Greece or wherever and have the time of her life while these losers stew in their own drama. The moment some famous Pakistani actress strips on OnlyFans most of these people would rush online to see if there are any leaked clips available for free.

If you read my whole post and understood it, you wouldn't need to ask me this question.

But if you are asking me to choose for her (I don't know why), then I prefer my country over some occasional professional acquaintance.
