Why should he play lead roles? Because he is a nepokid? Well. I only liked few performances by him, those were side roles in Golmaal, and Khaaki.
Not because he is a nepokid but because he is a good actor.

There are many good actors. They don't get lead roles. For lead role you need more than just good acting.
His film Yeh Dil with Anita should have been called "Vasu". Because the only dialog he said throughout the movie was "Vasu, Vasu, Vasu....".

Most Bollywood actors can’t act and they are average looking. I didn’t find anyone that handsome except HR and Sid. Only HR can act but the other one is wooden face that can’t act at all, which is why he is giving back to back flops. So what is the fault of Tushar?

I still love that movie. Watched it for 5 times.
I like this song so much of his with Anita.

HR is just as wooden and robotic. He plays the same guy in every movie. A version of Rohit from Koi Mil Gaya with some superficial variations. He looks like he's struggling with incontinence when he 'acts' or dances. There are some scenes where he's done a great job though but those are exceptions.
Some special charm and instant liking is needed for the audience to like the actors also. The audience s faith on the actor grows over time.

This movie was a South Indian remake Nuvvu Nenu, where Anita played the same role and Uday Kiran was the hero. If you watched the South Indian version, then who do you think acted better? Uday or Tusshar? And who did Anita shared better chemistry with? I liked both version.
So Amira, do you think Tusshar is handsome?
