She looks too senior next to actors her own age now. I don't think she's aged badly, I think her support to Ranveer and multiple movies with him hurt her stability, and she was also doing all big movies maybe health and the bad trolling after KWK hurt her image a bit.

When I say ageing badly I don’t even mean physically lol , it’s the constant SRK sidekick roles, even playing his mom, that’s hurt her image as a leading lady. Worse is, unlike Kareena or Alia who can pull off meaty roles without male leads, Deepika just isn’t that talented. Her & Katrina’s whole brand was always about running around trees with heroes… take that away & what’s left?

I think she had meaty roles in many films, like cocktail, Piku, Ram leela, Chennai express, YJHD, etc. Katrina is more about sex appeal and beauty, I agree.

Yes SRK and Deepika is repetitive and boring, I didn't like them in Pathaan at all. Also I think SRK doesn't have many heroines to act opposite as a love interest now so Deepika fills in.

But I think Deepika can still sign big films with all the big heroes and chances of her delivering big blockbusters is still high, she should not do that singham movies though.

when you depend on your sex appeal and beauty and when that starts to fade where do you go from there.

After trashing the film and Sid ,They don't know how to hype the new film King. The fact that you have to reach back a whole decade to name her good roles kinda proves the point. Even for glorified flowerpot parts, nobody’s calling Deepika anymore, Rashmika’s got that on lock now. Say what you want, but those roles still need someone hot and young. Katrina read the memo early and squeezed in a few decent roles before the inevitable happened (acting was never part of her journey anyway).

Deepika has been working for 20 years. What more are her fans expecting at this point? She just had a baby and is relaxing and enjoying her life. This the natural progression for most celebrities. She can stay in the limelight by appearing in big movies sometimes even if they are small roles.

For BW actresses, all that matters is that you get some hit songs because that is what is remembered and lasts over time. Nobody cares about what great acting you did in some obscure movie nor will anyone remember its existence. Apart from obsessive online stans, who knows or remembers Kareena's movies like Dev and Chameli? Who on earth will remember stuff like Jigra? Come on.
