The movie is terrible. Murugadoss is an outdated director, and the script and screenplay are both outdated and mediocre. Even if Salman had delivered a good performance, it wouldn't have saved this mediocre film.

Salman is in denial mode. Same discussion had happened after Bharat's not so good run at bo. Fans keep blaming different factors, but Salman's era is over. He is a bad actor and can't keep doing dhishoom dhishoom with 20kg extra weight.

I haven't seen the movie and don't even plan to. But Salman is the one who decided to go ahead with it. 🤷 Either he didn't realise what can or can't work or over estimated his dwindling start power.

Although I’ve watched only one Big Boss episode (the one with SRK and Kajol), I can imagine that hosting this kind of show for over 16 years now, suck out a lot of energy… also the energy for acting one did 8 years ago… it may even take a toll on his health (especially if he feels the need to keep hosting because of money issues).

I would like him still doing movies if he wants so but I agree that a lack of energy would neither benefit his work nor his health.

Yes, I completely blame Salman for choosing to work with a director past his prime like Murugadoss and for agreeing to this film after hearing such a mediocre script.
