Shaktimaan was very popular on TV. Kids were crazy about Shaktimaan. Mukesh Khanna was iconic in that role, extremely popular by kids. Hence can understand his nostalgia and attachement to the role.

It is doubtful to be hit as a movie so why Ranveer is keen on it not sure. May be he liked Shaktimaan growing up and imagine himself as him. Actually there aren't kids movies in India so RS might want to take a chance by making one.

Ranveer is not jobless, he is doing aditya dhars next and the filming is in full swing. So i don't know why some are still adamant to call him jobless

i repeat, Ranveer was chosen by the producers sony pictures and the director basil joseph to play shaktimaan, he didn't beg for the film, the team chose him. Mukesh being the big baby that he is, threw a tantrum and didn't bother talking to the team but publicly started talking crap about ranveer.

Ranveer then respectfully went to mukesh's office, met all of mukesh's team, and sat down with him for 2 and half hours, which is a long time. it wasn't to beg for the film, he was already chosen for the film, it was to convince mukesh that he is a good choice for the role, as mukesh has the copyright.

looking at how mukesh is acting, i don't think sony is even going to make the film because mukesh is just getting in the way of it even happening.

And its okay that it's likely not happening, I'll be glad that ranveer isn't doing it, mukesh is a horrible person and it's better to stay away from a project associated with him.

And I'd be fine if don3 isn't happening either, ranveer is getting too much negativity for doing it all because some people are unable to move on and accept him in the role, best for him to do a movie where he has no negativity

Apparently Mukesh Khanna and Ranveer. Hope Ranveer just drop the idea as not worth it. Don't think 90s kids will be interested in Shaktimaan movies with new person anyways. There is always nostalgia associated with growing up superheroes.
