Whether aamir hides his affairs or not,rumours do come.I dont think aamir rani had any affair as magazines were only writing about Govinda rani that time.those times aamir preity rumour was highlighted.but no one even talked about aamir rani.if they had affair while being with aditya chopra i dont think Rani would have continued her relationship with aamir n aamir and others would have spoken about Aamir Rani's friendship.

I'm not really familiar with his personal life. There's a blog I follow which recaps the history of the Kapoor family and it talks about them all in length and how Shashi Kapoor was the only one who wasn't a cheater.

I don't think it was a long affair as much as just a short fling while they were filming Ghulam together so this was late 90s. Hence the lack of media attention whereas Rani's affair with Govinda was long-term and he even gave her a flat. When Rani was linked to Aamir, this was long before Aditya Chopra came into her life. That wasn't until the early 2000s, I think after Govinda. She had already been linked to Adi when she was dating Abhishek because the Bachchans knew about her history with him.

He has studied abroad since the day he was born and still has a very thick Indian accent. And nothing is wrong with the Indian accent, except when he thinks he sounds like James Bond.. meets James Dean.

Yes and which duffer kept inviting himself over for dinner... even though she said.. dude I can't understand you... he showed up for breakfast too. Abhishek obviously was out of work even back then.. cuz he was there for lunch too

I only fall in love with Cancer men. That is my type. Probably also why I like Ranveer Singh most from the current generation of actors as he is a Cancer.

Lol, he must have tried really hard with her at first. From his stories, he always tries to pretend that there was no love at first sight for them and they only fell in love on Dhoom 2 after many films together. But it's clear here that he was trying very hard to ingratiate himself with Aish in her first Hindi film.

This reminds me of their first film together, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke. It flopped and it's probably because the storyline was unbelievable. Aish has to convince Abhishek, a soldier, to pretend to be her fiance for her family. In the process, she falls in love with him but he doesn't fall in love with her and leaves by intermission. I don't think anyone could buy the premise that she would fall in love with him but he wouldn't immeidately with her. Story would have made more sense if it was swapped.

I have not heard shammi's name linked up with any actress.But after his wife's death he married again.2nd marriage was a black mark then.

I had a quick glance at the article.i can't understand where shammi's EMA is mentioned.its written that he hasn't loved anyone like he loved his first wife.

I wasn't around during that era so I can't say myself. I can only say what I've read online on Reddit and even here. Below is the thread where I first read about Aamir/Rani and several users acknowledge it.

The article I posted isn't talking about Shammi's affairs. It talks about how the Kapoor men all had some things in common (alcoholism, cheating, obesity) and how Shashi Kapoor was the exception. How his wife made very clear that she would not tolerate any of the above so he never cheated and kept himself slim even with age. The author of the blog is a big Shashi Kapoor fan and talks about him in a lot of articles and always mentions that he's the best Kapoor because he avoided those vices that the other Kapoor men dabbled in. So that seems to imply that Shammi fell into the same trap.

I've also never heard of Randhir Kapoor being a cheater (only that he was a major alcoholic) but the Kapoor articles in that blog also seem to imply he was one too, especially if Shashi was the only exception.

That being said, this Reddit thread says that Shashi and Shabana Azmi had an affair so it seems Shashi's reputation was not spotless either. So maybe Shammi is the one who never strayed and it's really Shashi who is like the rest of his family. I don't know, but the lesson in all this seems to be to avoid all the Kapoor men. They don't seem worth it.

I like Shabana Azmi as an actress but the more I hear about her personal life, the more I despise how she seems to exclusively go after married men.
