Watched it just now and I'm still in awe. It isn't your run-of-the-mill masala or masala movie, it's something entirely different. The move makes you smile at times and sad at times. The final part, in particular, makes you teary-eyed.
I didn't like the trailer; hence, my hopes weren't high. However, it pleasantly surprised me. The jokes in the first half land just right. They bring a smile to your face. The dunki part is heart-wrenching. And so is the VIcky Kaushal part.
Performance wise, it's Tapsee's movie all the way. She shines and how. Her dialect and attire is perfect. I didn't like SRK in the trailer but he isn't actually cringe in the movie. In fact, he has done a good job.
I just wish they had focused more on their lives in the UK. Like how they survived after the court scene.
Overall, a very nice movie.
