I mean Ayan was madly in love with Ranbir..and this was about to happen sooner or later..no way would Alia let that friendship last..and it was not good for Ayan anyway..he needs time to let go his feelings..i mean i understand that it must be a big boost for ranbir's ego how he makes people of any gender fall really hard for him but this friendship was bound to end when one has such strong feelings and other does not..and with Alia being in picture. it was bound to happen

I’m sure they’re still friends but perhaps that closeness is not there anymore. More than marriage and child I think it was Brahmstra’s failure that probably strained their friendship. A lot of things got trolled about Brahmstra including Ranbir’s acting. Is he the type to take responsibility for his own bad acting or the type that will blame Ayan for all his short comings? 🤷🏽‍♀️ They’re definitely not in the same place where once Ayan said he can’t imagine ever doing a movie without Ranbir.

Brahmstra is on hold for now. Ayan got War2 thanks to his cousin and they’ll start shooting in a matter of weeks. If it becomes a blockbuster Ranbir will either campaign for Brahmstra2 or try and work his way into War3. If it underperforms they’ll have very separate professional lives which may or may not influence their personal lives.
