Indian Audience is very discerning at least when it comes to actors

Deepika and now Tripti.

They always go for looks + talent.

Let's not underestimate our Indian audiences. They are very discerning and have rejected all nepo betiyan except Alia (who can act, but hers is a unique case study).

This discernment within the audience reflects a growing trend in Bollywood, emphasizing merit and proficiency.

Ultimately, cinema is a visual medium so looks are VERY important.

Secomdly, acting talent. This is self-explanatory.

Anybody who fulfulls both criteria deserves to be at the top.

Look at Hrithik, Deepika, and now Tripti who is on the cusp of apromising career.

I don't think so. There was a girl in Kabir Singh who had a similar subplot and that girl went nowhere in her career.

She's given blockbuster performances in Bulbul and Qala and yet....her appearance in Animal is what took her from 600K to 2million followers on IG.

That doesn't happen to just anyone.

She certainly has a spark and I am interested to see where she goes from here.

Alia Bhatt is only where she is because of Karan Johar's and her own manipulation, creating projects to hide her weaknesses and doing all sorts of shady things to get good work. She delivered, but I wouldnt say she is hard-working or even respected. Majority of people find her highly irritating.

They are now using the same formula for Suhana Khan, in hopes that she will ape a similar career.

PR plays a huge role. People read 4-5 articles and they think thats the gospel truth.
