You do. I have friends who are born outside of India and their parents speak Hindi or regional language at home, so they all know it.

I assure you Nysa Devgan was humiliated by her terrible Hindi venture. She actually did forget everything when she went to Singapore, and Nysa actually studied well in DAIS during her middle school years. I am guessing something similar happened in England with Khan kids.

I believe Abhishek and Shweta studied as kids outside of India even they both never claimed not to know Hindi.

SRK wanted to get Suhana in the Marvel role. Obviously she didn't get it but lots of talks were happening.

It was there that I heard that SRK knew that his daughter's hindi diction was terrible, and he hired a special tutor that was once based in America.

It tracks too. SRK's diction is not bad, even his Urdu is not bad at all . At least his kids will be expected to know that. You can see this with Saif Ali Khan, Sara knows Hindi quite well.

With Sri Devi she was very quiet and spoke a weird mix of all languages to her kids, because that was what she was comfortable with.

Abhishek was likely exaggerating. Jaya is a HUGE stickler for Hindi. That's why even Agastya is seeming better than other nepos because he is decently comfortable in Hindi. Senior AB even has a big Hindi preservation effort going on - that's part of why he numbers his tweets and preserves all his old films.

DAIS has a seperate set of rules for star kids because of crazy parents. At least star daughters at least are nice to the staff. Some of the unruly ones/Dutt relatives have fought teachers and even there was a massive scandal where one of the Dutt boys was making lewd provocative remarks to one of Arjun Rampal's daughters.

Learning diction is something actors used to do even before?

I mean, speaking colloquially and speaking well for movies are different. Compare Amitabh and Akshay for example. Or Ajay Devgan. No one's going to say Akshay and Ajay don't know Hindi. But when Amitabh speaks, we know he KNOWS Hindi.

Hiring a Hindi coach doesn't mean Suhana doesn't communicate in the language.

Koala Kapoor gave up his dreams as a star and established the first PR/star system for Anil. That is why Anil's past is clean compared to stars with no PR. This PR system recruited heroines to work with Anil and if they worked with him they couldn't work with Mithun...etc. This is why Sri got entangled. Their 80s was their peak, and when the 90s came along, it was too late to launch Sanjay. Tabu did well though.

Sonam and her siblings are entitled because Anil married into old money with his wife. They were raised by snobby relatives. BK got thrown under the bus because Anil was the "star" even though he made Anil but tbh I don't feel sad for BK because he cannot handle $$.

BK is seeing a repeat of his life with his son. He wants to make him at least a second tier star as a villain.
