See if we sticky this one, then others will come to us to request other people's threads be stickied. The only time we stickied a thread was for SSR and that too wasn't his original death news, but rather the whole discussion around how he died and the cases that arose from it.

The five cast mates have released a joint statement.

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," their statement reads. "There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

Everything is being investigated. A lot of people saying even though no drug was found near his body it does not mean he was not taking it. But I refuse to believe that. He wrote a book about his lows while he had addiction, he went to rehab around 65 times i think. That is a lot! He did not gave up on himself and i gotta give him credit for that because it's very challenging to overcome drug addiction.

If you read his book, he mention about his family and their support (they never cared for him) I don't think he made good friends either. SO when the reunion time came, he said forget about his dental surgery pain, I am going to meet them. He was craving for true love and good friends.

He loved all the member of friend and I remember him telling that before the reunion he had dental surgery and it was very hard for him to speak or talk but he showed up because he loved Friends team. But if you check his last 7 Instagram posts, they were very strange and not like him at all. He kept posting about batman and mattman. I mean He had 3 TV's in his bedroom and in the IG picture he was playing Batman. And he made the post about pickleball and 2 hours before his death he was playing pickleball. Not sure if those posts were mental breakdown? Or was his account hacked or someone else using his IG to make posts. Because his cranberry post where he said all I ate today was 3 cranberries, those hand was of female. Some of his fans said in a post someone check on him and are you okay? So people knew that he was not okay.

I see Matthew Perry a hero, a survivor, warrior. I pray the truth will come out.

I agree with you. I believe he was sober. I also believe his death was due to drowning. I know we want to look for a specific reason, but sometimes there isn't always one. I think he was doing fine beforehand. He seemed happy to me.

I won't be able to watch Friends for quite some time and that is fine. He helped so many people get sober, and we are only finding out things after his death when people talk about him. It never crossed my mind to donate to charities that help out people with addictions, until I am reading about the work that he did to help others.

Its a sad sad life of mathew like robin williams reading all his struggles in life with drugs drinks and depression loneliness etc when you see these hollywood actors in movies tv you cannot say they are going through so much in life away from camera

But he hid all than and made us laugh by his acting

If you are lonely always adopt kids or animals it will help get over lonliness and feeling of being unloved

Lonliness and feeling of being unloved by anyone in world family especially is tough and i guess mathew perry robin williams etc all felt that

In modern world no one truly loves you all superficial relationships

friends and family with benefits

so people get depression and upset and than perry and robin williams situation arises over substance use and ignoring health etc

Taking long term drugs and drinks damages all body parts especially kidney liver heart veins and its tough dealing with those sickness all alone without a family to support
