I wouldn't mind a manic comedy with a female cop, though, if violence is kept reasonable.

It's even stranger that no one bats an eyelid when actors do crazy cop who justify police brutality but are losing their mind seeing an actress do the same (?) On a poster.
I have no hopes about the film being subtle knowing the director.
Just happy that an actress who's married and 30+ gets a lead role in an action film about a lady police officer, it's bad but it's a start.

Its because actresses are expected to be graceful 24/7. I don't mind Deepika in violent role at all. I am used to such movies.
