As for Deepika, I really think she fell in love with Ranbir and he is her kind of ideal man in her head and put him on a pedestal but she decided to go with the old saying of people saying marry someone who loves you more than you do them and I feel she made do with Ranveer sort of compromise. It does seem he loves her more than she does him but I guess she's learning how to love. I've experienced that myself. A guy like Ranbir has that something you can put your finger on but is toxic and you have another guy who just loves you to death but you don't feel as passionately for him as the toxic guy and you can't put a finger to why

Drawing parallels to KANK like Rishi loved Maya and he was a nice man and human being but she fell in love and felt that attaraction to Dev who was toxic.

The whole thing about RK is he is so aloof and detouched that the women try hard to tame him and that keeps them interested. In the process it takes a toll on their mental health.

It is very unfortuante that we women actually take those men for granted who love us without asking for it. Vicious cycle!

hmmm if it wasn’t for Raha ranbir and alia wouldn’t be married thats a fact.

Deepika brings the calmness in Ranveers life which im sure he’s drawn too and he brings excitement in her mundane life. She’s definitely been more affectionate with Ranveer in recent times and flaunts his success.

Ranbir and Alia are defn mismatched but they are stuck for life now. I dont think Ranbir will leave her and she’s never going to leave either similar to Neetu stuck to Rishi.

Deepika Ranveer is a hit on and offscreen you can see love in Ranveer’s eyes and Deepika looks emotional when he wins an award or something.

Alia Ranbir though their movie did well at box office offscreen I feel Ranbir bullies her and puts her down. Sometimes he can be nice though. He used to verbally treat Deepika better.

I mean every man searches his mother in his wife somehow, and having motherly feelings for husband is a very normal and celebrated thing in females, here it seems dominating the equation which is fine

No idea how Ranveer is in real life or from within, who knows maybe he is more matured then Deepika but we can only see the surface level and his antics

Opposites attract, one fine day attraction fades away, then fighting starts.. So the compatibility is what wins the day in the end. But at the same time I believe that nothing is permanent in the world,so whatever floats our boat.

Disagree with that. This whole idea and mentality has come from a place of absolute sexism and laziness by men who just want to be taken care of. So the wife ends up cooking, cleaning, doing all his laundry, taking care of him when he’s sick, hosting and entertaining his friends. All the things his mother was doing for him, except his wife also gives him sex. And this is something that unfortunately transcends all cultures. American women always sarcastically joke about how many kids they have. For instance if they have two kids they’ll say they have three, two small ones and the big one who can’t do anything for himself.

As for the topic specifically, yes Alia and Ranveer are louder and more outgoing specially compared to their partners. But their partners aren’t exactly shy and quiet by any means. I think in their cases this difference isn’t strong enough to be a major factor in how their relationships actually are. Also what makes Ranveer stand out is not just that he’s outgoing and high energy, which he definitely is. It’s also that sometimes he does go over the top. That’s his schtick. He plans out ways to stand out, mostly in the way he dresses.
