They might. But a case could be made is that good influence? Is the news that they influence with atleast 80% accurate at all times? Just because something is prevalent doesn't make it right or moral. Should we celebrate the big influence and liken them to doctors and scientists not paying heed to if it's good or bad influence? It's a slippery slope to misinformation.

Having said that, I find her content much better than that of most fashion influencers. She just there living her enchanted life, I can hate on her a lil.

Talking about influencers: I like Komal Basith's Insta page. She really reviews products well and it seems like she is being 100% honest.

Such out of touch bubble dwellers. I generally disdain any influencer that's selling crap without them using it extensively on themselves. Don't know Komal Basith.

Komal claims she reviews the products after using it for a few weeks. One can only hope she isn't lying. But who knows.

Most of these influencers are blah. I just like watching well made reels with nice clothes and accessories. I avoid listening to what they have to "say." Coz its mostly crap.

I just watch the reels and move on. Filthy rich people and their expensive everything.

I watched some of them during Cannes out of plain curiosity. It was exhausting. I'd rather watch vlogs of travel and food by youtubers to be honest.

I think it's fair to conclude that even though they might be honest to some degree about the products, there will still be some level of deception involved. After all it is sales. They sell whichever brand pays them.

Best food review show ever - without exaggeration this is indeed the best food combined with travel review show ever. The host is an exemplar human being. He travels around the world to the remotest as well to the busiest places and explores the food of the region. He started out by himself and now has a whole crew. He has covered remote tribes in Africa, Southeast Asia exclusively and Middle East. He also has videos of Indian, Pakistani and Srilankan food. He eats everything from insects to all sorts of weirdest food with no judgement and is always respectful of any culture. I LOVE this channel.

Yes Theory - this is mostly travel vlog and dare kinda thing, not food per se. They cover countries and places unbeknownst to man. There is this one specific video titled 'staying 50 hours in a country that doesn't exist on the map". It's a former Soviet colony. I loved it. I'm not kidding but that video reaffirms your faith in humanity. This video covering Tuvalu (a country with only one airport) was very fun.

Apart from these, I occasionally browse through food ranger, strictly dumpling, doobydobap (this lady is tone deaf rich lol, but her presentation of Korean food is lajawaab. She also went from being a food vlogger to opening a restaurant with her chef bf in Seoul lol. So, I watch out of curiosity).

All I know about these influencers is that they have been getting all sorts of validation from the powerful arenas.. Unfortunately these people are going to continue to rule the roost in the coming days. So much so, their influence of politics is also being contemplated
