Its not like all salman films do well we all saw what happd to his last film that tanked miserably. Its about time we all stop pitting one against another.

I am honestly shocked at the reception the movie is getting. It’s genuine celebration out there with people coming out beaming with happiness and satisfaction of watching something nice. May be it’s just me cribbing about my prequel and i was too busy looking for the nuances that I hoped for and missed the bigger picture. Anyway I am going back sometime this weekend and check it out again. It’s the first time I am watching Sunny on the big screen and that’s a reason enough for me to enjoy it anyway.

Yes I did and I actually liked it better this time because I watched it as an independent movie without cribbing about the nuances from the part 1. You can say the nostalgia somewhat has spoilt it for me the first time.

Gadar 2 will pass the 500 cr mark anyways (would have done - most probably - earlier when having a solo run).

I like that Sunny writes film history with something people had loved once and embraced again in a great way. That's not something that often happenes in Cinema.
