Brahmastra had massive buzz both before and after release. It was everywhere. Everyone wanted to watch it and they did. I totally believe the collections. This guy is a joke. He gave bad reviews to the movie and he keeps bashing a movie till eternity he doesn't like just to prove to everyone that his review was right. He wanted it to crash but that crash never came. Brahmastra kept earning and became a hit earning 400 cr worldwide.

Taran is clearly saying when he asked the distributors for daily collections the distributors refused to share that (because Karan had demanded). Matlab kisi ko pata nahin pehle din 20crore kamaya ya 30cr lekin producers made posters of 75cr-125cr type daily.

Ab isko verdict vs overall-collection debate mein lake Ranbir fans over-smart banne ki koshish mein hai.

I actually remember this, multiple lmao emojis were posted to mock you. (Not taking any names šŸ‘€) how desperate was KJo and gang, and all the Ranbir Aloo fans here to have the movie labelled as a success. The script was even worse than Pathaan, what did they expect?

Yeah and it oddly seemed weird that how coordinated such efforts seem with the media. And the same people come back and go all out to pull down other films (that actually do well) šŸ˜†

Brahmastra was a big film for dharma, a movie like Selfie they didnt care if it flopped, but they were determined to make it seem like brahmastra is a big hit even though the reality is different

it may not have collected 1/3rd of the projected figure. i think pathan was also inflated. it may have collected 1/2 of the projected numbers.

Good they dropped it. Why do these people put their time and money in such crap anyway Astraverse ke naam pe kuch bhi bkwas dikhao audience ko.

Quite a few of us were attacked and mocked last year for saying the movie wasn’t a financial success. But then news came that Jio whatever was making part 2 and 3. No way Dharma backed out of this if it made them any money. Forget making money, they wouldn’t have even backed out if this had broken even. There was obviously a lot of loss here.

@BOLD:

Why is Jio making Part 2 and Part 3 if Part 1 was a loss? Which business sinks it’s huge money in a loss making venture? šŸ˜•

No wonder the stock market India's official Twitter handle had to post a case study for the decline in PVR share market just after day one!🤣

but , at least it was not an outright floppy...joh mujhe darr tha..

movie opened well...average takh gaya...

and those who are worrying about RK..i know there are many...shamshera opened almost double digit..TJMM luv ranjan headache opened well, at least double digit..at least RK movies are getting decent openings.

hoping animal opens with double digit as well...post pandemic kaafi hai

You were actually parading around calling it the most successful film ever and now your tune has changed and says it’s average and also you went from talking about blockbuster status to now talking about opening digits 🤣
