Aise toh even Yash, Allu Arjun never did a Hindi film.

But the dubbed versions of Pushpa and KGF made them a craze.

Mahesh has never done a Hindi film. He made it purely due to dubbed films.

Basically in South India it is not just the actors who have brand value but also directors themselves have their own brand value. Nowadays most of the directors specially in Telugu direct their own films and so they have a grip on the subject.

Even the technical crew like cinematographers have their own brand value.

In Hindi film industry film writing seems to have died a death with the decline Saleem Javeed.

Unless they groom and mentor good writers and directors Bollywood can never recover.

Starting from K Vishwanath Balachander Bharatiraja Raghavendra Rao to present day directors like Pa Ranjith, Bala, Shiva Koratala, Sekhar Kammula Trivikram All of these directors have their brand value which add to the the films they are working on.

Most of these film makers have near total freedom and production houses do not interfere in their work.

Film makers need creative freedom to tell the story the way want to. Only then good films will come out.

Actors like Prabhas can pull people to theatres give an initial but after that film runs on it's own merits.

Prabhas looked and acted really well when he was young. He is really good in speaking in Telugu , which gives certain personality to his character in his movies. Same can't be said to his Hindi language, which he speaks really bad.He has lost all the good looks and charm with age but unlike him other Telugu actors maintain their looks despite their age. He could look good like before, just by having good sleep and maintaining healthy habits. But, who could knock some sense into a lazy and secluded guy. He is a darling, I wouldn't like hurting him. Sorry for being out of the context. Where am I! He surely is not a one time wonder as Sahoo was a hit and it's not a bad movie.(I liked it) Audience love seeing Prabhas showcasing Indian culture because of his amazing performance in Bahubali. That's one of the reasons, people were excited for Adipurush along with the fact that Indians worship Ramayan. Radhe shyam didn’t attract audience as it has foreign backdrop.

Ps: Rajamouli doesn't take just anyone in his movies. They have to meet his vision. Rajamouli himself said that Bahubali's character was an inspiration from lord Ram. He also said, he and Prabhas used to sit all night discussing about the characters behaving the way they do. Just imagine Prabhas in his prime playing Ram directed by Rajamouli or any reputed south director. They would have been so respectable and spectacular.

The entire blame of Adipurush is on Om raut for messing up . Also, he got no brains for kissing Kriti Sanon on cheek in Tirupati, a religious place.

Just remembered, Prabhas in anger asked Om raut to come to his room during the trailer launch of the movie. 😆It's satisfying.

I heard Rajamouli was inspired from Mahabharat for Bahubali and Prabhas was based on Arjuna and Rana on Duryodhan.

Never heard of Ramayana.

So going by all posts here, it is directors to blame and not stars?

Anyway, Saaho did not do well. It was not a clean hit.

Well there is Yash too who has created craze with KGF series and people have compared him to young Amitabh and he did it without SSR or S. Shankar.

People say that KGF is mostly due to Prashant neel the director

Sure .. Whatever you say 😛😆

The scale of both films are like chalk and cheese just how the stardom of Allu Arjun and Yash is when compared with each other and I’m not saying Yash doesn’t have any contribution to the success of KGF. But you must be kidding if you don’t see the vivid difference in the USPs of Pushpa and KGF.

You seem biased and I guess you also ignore how Yash has been compared to young Amitabh ever since KGF released.

I know Allu Arjun is a big star but rest of India does not know difference in stardoms of NTR Jr, Yash, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan or Rishabh Shetty etc. For them all are same.

Stars do not succeed. Films or characters do.

We would see what success Allu gets if he does some other film like Prabhas attempted and his so called pan India stardom was proven exaggerated otherwise.

Ok I’m biased .. And yes not like Allu Arjun needed Pushpa to be Viral. Yes I’m a fan but that doesn’t mean I don’t understand the logistics and it’s kind of self explanatory Pushpa being an average movie flew only because of the larger than life swag filled screen presence of Allu Arjun, along with the viral album which Allu Arjun had before too.

I’m sure most of us knew about Allu Arjun before Pushpa but not about Yash before KGF. And yes, we will see if Arjun can retain the throne again even without Pushpa, which he surely will, a Prashabt neel or SSR isn’t necessary here.

There’s a reason why after KGF both Jr NTR and Prabhas signed a movie with Prashant Neel while Pushpa’s director’s name is sth which only hardcore telugu fans will care about and not the big distributors.

Anyway getting compared to Amitabh bacchan so what? Who cares about these comparisons? I’m sure Yash doesn’t either 😆. He’s a grandfather now, let Yash be the daddy he’s onscreen 🔥
