Honestly Ash is the trend setter for newbies, anyone wanting to go global or battling campism, nepotism or politics in BW and staying relevant.

PC also learnt from her and moved abroad to make a name for self there and has gone ahead, positioned self as woman of color icon and advocate for causes etc.

Though I think PC has done more than what Ash did globally and she is more ambitious than Ash.

But cannot deny Ash is the trend setter.

She is also inspiration for most girls to participate in pageants or take up modeling and move to Bollywood after modeling.

In initial days Deepika used to put up a dream girl or beauty act same as Ash and posed for cameras in same ways as young Ash of 90s.

All global brands slowly began taking Indian actresses only after successful association of Ash with Longines, LOReal etc. Later Katrina, Sonam, Deepika, Sush, Preity, Bebo, PC, DPad and now Alia endorsed international or luxury brands.
