The plot was indeed quite bizarre. The movie can be very boring at points but overall it’s not a bad film. It did look like the author was pushing his wife to have an affair with another guy so that he could get some inspiration to write his story book since he was looking for something “realistic”. But in his mind he knew that his wife would always be loyal to him, she won’t overstep her boundaries and she was indeed loyal, she enjoyed her friendship with a younger carefree guy who made her laugh occasionally. I found it absolutely ridiculous though, why did the wife agree to such a thing? If I am married I am obviously off limits and I won’t let any man get closer to me like that, also while keeping him in dark about my marital status. She knew he was developing feelings for her but she didn’t once tell him that she was married and he should back off! Sanjay’s character was anyway a lunatic, he was obsessed with his stories and as the film suggested, the line which separated fictional world from the real one was blurred for him, that’s why he lost his mind. They both played with that guy’s feelings. And at the end he just left, Ash was never in a relationship with him.

Was she though? She sure didn't sleep with him but there was this beech sequence where she almost let him kiss her. Beside, I don't think she was aware of her husband writing story using her & Zayed until later? So, it wasn't really her husband but she, herself who went with the flow & kept Zayed's character in the dark about his martial starus, no? I hope I don't remember it wrong. Also, I think she did have feelings for him. When she revealed about her being married, If I remember it well, there was an intimate moment. 🤔 (?)

SD's character though. Yeah! He was total lunatic. He sure loved his wife but I felt he didn't even think at 1st that there is probability of his wife falling for another man. He was really treating them as character of his story until he imagined Antra kissing another man. & went mad then & there!

Also, Zayed's character was still in good terms with her. Since he did meet her in the asylum & then there was this scene him leaving on his cycle. It was some sort of an open ending? Or may be not.

One of Aishwarya’s best looks. I think she’s never looked as fresh and glowy as she did in this movie

I don’t remember him meeting her at the asylum, or may be I missed that scene. I think the film ended with Sanju turning mad and Antara not giving up in trying to cure him, I think later she did start developing some feelings for Zayed but she always maintained a distance from him. She did tell him that she is happy with her husband and she is choosing to stay with him. I think she loved her husband but she started seeing Zayed as a source of some escapism from her mundane life and she thoroughly enjoyed his company, for her own selfish reasons she never revealed to him that she was married because in her husband’s words doing so would have caused him to stop talking to her, and to be fair she wanted to tell him on several occasions that she was married but each time her husband stopped her, and she went along with it. Both miya biwi were f*cked up in their heads IMO. Zayed was just a clown. It’s a complex film for sure.
