1. How long it's been on IF/BWF?

Officially, I've been on IF for 7 odd years but in reality, I made an account seven years ago and then forgot about its existence until 2021 😆

Coming to the BWF, I started lurking around here quite recently so maybe a couple of months. Infi suggested this would be a fun place to be.

I don't do well with numbers which is alarming considering I work in finance but yeah, this is the best I can do with my memory than can rival that of a goldfish.

2. Participation in other forums, Past/Present?

I've only been on the Bigg Boss Forums. Started watching it during season 15 and then for not having anything better to do, I returned to this place during season 16 as well.

3. Favourite Actors both Indian and Western

This is going to be a long list but I'll try my best to keep it concise.

Indian Actors

SRK ( I have a soft corner for him in my heart and I blame my parents for letting me watch his movies as a pre teen)

Sidharth Malhotra ( I know he ain't the best actor we have but look at that face, it's criminal to not like him)

Ayushmann Khurana ( Dude can act and has dimples. I realise how easy it is to win me over and also how shallow I am)

Western Actors

I'm currently crushing on Ben Barnes so there's him.

But, Chris Evans is always going to be my one true love (Sorry Benjamin)

I've also been obsessing over Kdrama men, so yeah, add them to the list too. Kaafi lambi list hai 😆

4. Favourite Actresses both Indian and Western?

Indian Actresses

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tops the list.

I find late 90's and early 2000's ki actresses more likeable so my list just has them.

Priety Zinta

Rani

Karishma.

Western Actresses

I absolutely adore Jennifer Aniston (Probably because of my unhealthy obsession with the sitcom Friends)

Keira Knightley ( Loved her in Pride and Prejudice and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise)

Ellen Pompeo is pretty good too ( Yes, I did waste years of my youth watching Grey's Anatomy)

5. Interests outside the Forum such as; Sports, Reading etc?

Does sleeping count? If not, I'd like to make a case for it 😆

I would have claimed to be an avid reader but at this point I'm just a hoarder of books I'm never going to read. I have more unread books on my shelf than I'd like admit.

I hate running or moving around in general so sports is definitely outside the realm of possibilities for me. If we ever get attacked by zombies, I'd choose becoming a walking corpse over actually running to safety 😆

6.Personality - Sensitive/Non Sensitive?

I'm probably a mix of both. Depends on the situation and the people around. If it's someone I deeply care about or if its any cause that resonates with me, It'll ivoke a more sensitive reaction from me.

But on the spectrum, I'd say I'm usually more sensitive on a daily basis unless you're someone or something I've grown to be indifferent to. Matlab if I've completely decided to not acknowledge your existence, then you're never gonna witness my sensitive side.

7. Celebs you dislike?

I learnt to not dislike celebrities long back, it was just wasting my energy on people who didn't even know I existed. So yeah, I don't dislike any major celebrity unless they give me a pretty solid reason to despise them.

8. Subjects of discussion you enjoy?

I love to talk so I can talk to people about anything they choose. I don't have any particular preferences but I tend to not comment much on anything related to politics or religion because I don't wanna stir up that hornets nest and also because I hate confrontation.

I enjoy the drama so long as I'm not the main protagonist 😆

Your Friends here already, how you met?

Mostly through the various forums I was part of but its been almost 7-8 years since I last watched a hindi serial so I've lost touch with most of them, and most of the other friends i made on this forum have left since there's nothing much to discuss on BW anymore

Personality - Sensitive/Non Sensitive?

I'm not a sensitive person in that I can take people not being nice to me, but I am sensitive in the sense that I try not to hurt others, and always lend a listening ear when they need me. People who know me personally call me 'the smiling girl' as I'm always in high spirits and smiling

Celebs you dislike?

I don't really care about them to like / dislike them. I only care about how they perform in the film.

Subjects of discussion you enjoy?

Just talking about life, and listening to people talk about their journey and experiences.

I also get really excited to talk about films / dramas I really enjoyed. And also old hindi songs❤️

Wow... Gosh Smiling Girl there is a lot to you. I love how you have some old actors in your list - Meena kumari, shammi kapoor, sanjeev Kumar they were all so fab. I like Tom Hanks too.. he's brilliant. Cast away, The airport movie etc were so brilliant.

PKYEK, DEK and Madhubala forum.. I was in those too - did we meet before.. chalte chalte. Madhubala.. were you a VD, Drashti fan or for the jodi?

Everyones ID changes and it's hard to keep up - Because most of my friends and I went to FB so never had to worry too much about IDs when we left. but over time u start forgetting and the ID's keep changing.

It's true a lot of people have lost interest or move onto other shows. We all move around. I think BWF is that space - generally - that it's going to still be more consistent.

You got it right about sensitivity, We can be strong without trying to hurt others.

Gosh the old hindi songs were the best. Just wat happened - where did it all go wrong. Remix's are just not doing it for me.

I'm the same I like listening to people about their life experiences. We can't get everywhere, so we learn through each other.

- Favourite Actors both Indian and Western Indian - Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan and Western - Colin Firth and Tom Cruise

- Favourite Actresses both Indian and Western? Indian - Alia, Bebo Aishwarya and Western - It keeps changing, last I loved Brianne Howey (Georgia in Ginny and Georgia). Used to be Kate Winslet otherwise for a long long time.

- Personality - Sensitive/Non Sensitive? Somewhere in between depending on the topic on hand. I wouldnt lose sleep over celebrities..but socio-political issues are problematic areas for me lol

Good topic Cari 👍🏼. It’s interesting since we are getting to know about the members here and it feels like I have gone back to my school days when I used to fill those slam books with enthusiasm and made my friends fill it up as well 😆
