Today, I went to a Muslim friend's house for lunch and ate biryani and sewaiyan

I ordered my mom to give me a cooking lesson. With all due respect to Radhika Apte, I see it as a step towards independence and learning to take care of yourself. You do not have to do it for any man. Just do it for yourself.

That being said I am not sure how much I learned. I just had some fun with my mom. Restaurant food is 50% more fattening then home-cooked meals. Last time I was on my own I got used to ordering Grubhub, hence the weight gain.
