u can discuss here just put spoilers in the heading. We don’t need a separate thread as everything as been discussed here. So just put spoilers here and post the review.

My non spoiler review

This was the first time i struggled to get family members to come to cinema to watch a salman khan (eid!) film with me. The majority of them said it looked crap so they didn’t want to go. I did manage to take my mum though. The cinema was probably 40% full, which is low for Salman film, his and SRK’s films are usually always packed out.

Salman Khan looked great, probably in his best shape in many years. His entry scene was great, as was his action scenes. The train fight in particular. He looked much better in the second half of the film with his normal hair, he looked even better without the beard. His acting left allot to be desired however, throughout the movie, he was emotionless. Watching him in the film i recalled the review i read from his biggest fan GudduPandit where he said Salman put in less than 10% effort for the film and i understand what he meant now.. i guess you can say his character was supposed to be like that, but I thought Sallu acted in a similar manner in the Pathaan cameo as well. Expressionless, almost robotic.

The brothers were decent i guess, as were their girlfriends. The chachu was the funniest character from their family.

Pooja Hegde, my god, i think I'm in love with her. She looked stunning throughout. Her scenes were good, whether it was the comedy scenes or emotional scenes. She has some serious screen presence. She sort of reminds me of Deepika in that sense. Pooja definitely stole the show for me.

The songs were good, i loved Naiyo lagda before the movie and i love it even more after watching it on the big screen. I wish bollywood make more songs like this. The 90’s/00’smelody in this song is such a vibe. Billi Billi was okay, the song Salman sings wasn’t a fan off before the movie but now it’s stuck in my head, catchy! Not sure what the hell the credit song was all about with the children’s nursery rhymes, that was just stupid.

The movie itself was decent, i enjoyed it. It wasn’t the best but it wasn’t as bad as the reviews are saying. The box office disappointment IMO is down to other certain stuff from the film that wasn’t needed which I'll get into in a later post

Overall I give it a 3 out of 5 stars

you expressed exactly how I felt, my mom like it better than Pathan. Salman did look better in the second half , especially in billi billi and the last fight scene. I am surprised the movie isn't doing better with Salman's core young men audience with the fight scenes in the movie. I felt the comedy could have been better, and the songs though good( except for the credit one) could have been catchier like his songs from ready and there wasn't a blockbuster like Teri meri from bodyguard. but the movie was decent

KKBKKJ was an EID release - nothing more nothing less. Without Eid, it would have had a good weekend..and then nothing more.

It's still a decent outcome for a slightly entertaining movie - especially with all the OTT-viewing possibilities.

Who really did believe that KKBKKJ would make a remarkable impact?

However (imo) it doesn't influence the hype for Tiger 3...
