Tripti Dimri Siddhant Chaturvedi In Dhadak 2 - Page 2

Why is it being called Dhadak2? A Dhadak2 should have Janhvi in it, no? There was some talk even back when the movie came out of doing a part 2 where Janhvi’s character goes for revenge against her family. But having completely different people here suggest a different set of characters and stories. Then why not give it a new title?

Isn't he already working with her with Vicky-Tripti romcom? Also another Dharma projects she has with Ananya?

Yes, maybe he's impressed with her talent and wants to give her more opportunities

Maybe because Jahnvi can't act they decided to go with a fresh pairing. Then again Ishaan Khattar probably has more acting potential than even Sidhanth. Maybe he looked too short or too young next to Tripti.

Karan has signed Tripti under his banner, all her projects are under Karan Johar!

Ishaan’s character was killed in Dhadak so if it’s a continuation of that story he’s done. I think Dharma wants to make this a franchise too like Aashiqui 1,2,3 etc. Except I’m not sure the first one made enough of an impact financially or musically to grab everyone’s attention for second part 🤷🏽‍♀️

My gut feeling is that this is going to be a more mature version of both Dhadak and Sairat. Janhvi is now in the South, so I don't think she would be giving dates for another romance sequel. It's hard to do regional and Bollywood movies at the exact same time unless the Bollywood movies are partially filmed.

Sid C I think can pull off the slightly older look better and having Ishaan (who was in Part 1) will cause continuity errors.

Also, what's with BW and sequels with new actors. Golmaal toh phirbhi thikh hai, it's the three actors in ooty and Goa with different storylines. Someone explain sequels to BW writers🤦‍♀️
