Tillotama Shome

Been a big fan of hers since I watched her in Monsoon Wedding (2001). Her portrayal of the maid in love was disarming and beautiful.

Since then, I have watched two more movies of hers: A Death in the Gunj (2017) and Sir (2021). She has a flair for bringing characters alive on the screen and coupled with a quirky charm which makes her such a joy to watch onscreen.

She was brilliant in Sir, which I rewatched recently. Simply brilliant. She deserved the National Award for that, IMO.

I really like her as an actress and a performer.
