I think Deepika was holding her saree and probably also avoided holding Ranveer's arm as her dad was with her.

I think it does not look right if your dad or mom are with you and walk beside you and you go arm in arm or hold hands of spouse. She chose to walk between both special men in her life.

I do not think this indicates Deepika having rift with RS.

Though I agree she seems to have upper hand in this relation and RS is obsessed or besotted with her and feels only too happy to have her as his wife while she may not have same level of fascination with him.

Nor same level of PDA as he shows for her.

I agree though, forum and SM would have bashed Ranbir if he did it to Alia.

But then it also depends on baggage or reputation a person or his family has. Kapoors are known for misogyny. So the reputation chases them. Rishi for eg, has many times been angry, grumpy and walked off as Neetu or RK kept looking or refused to pose for paparazzi. So people assume son will be same as dad.

RS and DP get less scrutiny thanks to families not being stars nor their personal lives known as much as lives of Bhatts and Kapoors.

We're simply going into the field of suppositions, we're not in the knowing. I think that there is a sad reality, but I could be wrong... (somehow I wish, that I'm wrong because I like both).

Future will tell...

Virushka is the only celeb couple who look still in love with each other.

Others have their moments like any normal couple.

Ranveer has always been more into DP than she.

True. I have never seen DPad going crazy for Ranveer or doing PDA antics like getting his name tattooed on own neck like she went crazy over Ranbir.

Maybe she has matured or is perhaps a little wary and guarded and does not want to give all of herself now. One way of protecting own mental health and preventing relapse of depression in case RS ever leaves or cheats on her?

Previous bad experiences do change a person forever sometimes.
