We never know ... Isn't It ?
This is what was speculated about Pathaan, and look at how wrong a lot of people were ?
Y r ppl fake hyping the abysmal floppity collections of this film as if it’s not doing badly ? A film like this shud have done 30+ cr minimum in the opening weekend .. it’s a clear FLOP

I suppose, the signs a clear, rck...
And the speculations about Pathaan vanished already at the time of the pre-bookings (which is in no way the case with Shehzada) 😊

Your outlook's absolutely correct, but from just a strictly 'budget recovery' perspective ...
A 40 crore goal is not impossible to meet in 14 days. Remember 20 crore has been collected so far.
You know my take about numbers, rck...and honestly, I'm less interested in "will the movie earned get even with the budget" as in "does the movie explore its potentiality".
Pathaan did...Shehzada...I doubt.
For example: ShahRukh's last movies (from Fan to Zero) explored their potentiality but - for whatever reasons (would be interesting to explore) - failed to gain success in INDIA.

Sorry greatly about the non-interest, but numbers ...
happen to be the only 'meter-scale' to determine the movie's success.
Was very impressed when it was made known that remuneration was returned by Kartik to see the movie's completion. This made non-Kartik fans as myself to rally for the Movie to break even. Any momentum will help minimize the Boycott fervor. 😃
I even wouldn't associate a failure to boycott...not in the current climate that Pathaan brought.
A failure shouldn't be attributed to Kartik neither (he believed in the movie) but to the makers who - most probably - believed in quickly made bucks (or in money laundering).
One should never ever disrespect the original movie...and I think, that is the case here (and wasn't the case with the Drishyam movies).
Money Laundering ... Expound ?

Movie has released worldwide 12th September and will release in India too...
Love in Vietnam reviews and box office...
