It may be a "3rd class movie" for you (I wonder why exactly). And there were so many things to smile about ...it was not at all about crying all the time.
Baring the overdone Wilhelmina subject, it was a well balanced movie about a couple hit by the aftermath of 9/11. And if Rizwan hadn't been autistic (Asperger) he wouldn't have taken Mandira's words litterally but neither would he have done this journey and wouldn't have "overcome" some difficulties.
