He clarified that it is an Indian film, but not from Bollywood, it comes from the southern film industry of the Telugu language
Those are just facts
Also what’s wrong if he says that ? it’s not separatist …
Netflix refused to screen the original Telugu version of rrr and wanted the Hindi one only (coz it’s a more widely spoken language)…everyone in the west saw a dubbed version of it ….now for people in the west, Hindi or Telugu wouldn’t matter both would be a foreign language …so why couldn’t Netflix screen the original version with subs?
Any film maker would get extremely hurt if his work was not shown in its original language …
What’s wrong he wants to clarify that the original language spoken in the film is Telugu?
The telegu RRR isn’t on Netflix ? Really ? Is any Telegu film in Netflix ?He clarified that it is an Indian film, but not from Bollywood, it comes from the southern film industry of the Telugu language

There plenty of Telugu films on Netflix …but Netflix dosent have the Telugu version of RRR….it only has Hindi ….rajamouli said in an interview with the Russo brothers that he was disappointed that Netflix didn’t want to release the Telugu version on their platform

Interesting. But for the cinemas they release telegu version in North America or Europe ?
as everyone said he was clarifying it is not bw but a telugu lang film from india, it has taken a long time for south to get its own position and come out of shadow of bw (i dont mean quality wise but exposure),
however, most north indians are very aware now and know all about south, diff langs etc, so this stereotype that they all mock and call them madrasis is outdated
isi forum pe allu ke south se bade fans hain 😆
all these extreme voices from both sides will try to cash in and bring in their agenda into everything, common ppl are chill and balanced
having said that, i can see that ssr's win in golden globes and worldwide exposure has led to some jealousy, lot of hit pieces and videos recently which are manipulating his words
as blue ice correctly said, kisi ke success pe khush hi nahin ho sakte hum, we want to bring down everyone
Aisa maat bolo, issi forum pe people said Allu Arjun ki songs only famous hai amongst spot boys 🤣
Rajamouli said the truth only, telugu ko telugu hi bolega na 🤣

No thank you. We already have a country and it is called India.
I agree that RRR is a Telugu movie and Not a Bollywood film. Rajamouli was correct in his stance. The credit and success of this film should only give to RRR and its team
But to say that only North Indians mock South Indians . While the latter is just innocent bystanders is a bit of a reach
If North Indians use slurs and mock them, South Indians do the same.
Sab yaha ek hi thali ke chate baate hai. You can find such people in both groups
If Bollywood looks down upon south industry. Then even vice versa is true.

South film industry has not caricaturized north Indians to the extent south has been done by Bollywood. Examples abound of it. Calling us all madrasis, the harsh accented English, the foods... the mockery has been relentless.
I am not going to include all north India in it, but that *Hindi is our national language* statement came from Ajay Devgan very recently.
Some Bollywoodiyas are going around mocking RRR's win. Sucharita Tyagi is one.
So I have little sympathy for those in Bollywood now trying to claim credit for the success of a regional language movie.
