Why Ranveer wants to compete with Hollywood?

Spider-Man: No Way Home released on 16th December, 2021 (in India). 83 released one week later on 24th December, 2021. No Way Home made 216 Crores in India. 83 finished at 107 Crores.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released on 6th May, 2022. Jayeshbhai Jordaar released one week later on 13th May, 2022. Multiverse of Madness collected 128 Crores in India. JJ finished at 16 Crores.

Avatar: The Way Of Water released on 16th December, 2022. Cirkus released one week later on 23rd December, 2022. Avatar 2 would cross 300 Crores in India. Cirkus would finish below 50 Crores.

Three times continously he has semi-clashed with Hollywood films which have huge franchise value in India. All three times the Hollywood films were Blockbusters or at least Hit at the box office. And all three times Ranveer films ended up being Disasters.

Ranveer's next film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is set to release on 28th April, 2023. Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to release one week later on 5th May, 2023. GOTG Vol. 3 is again an MCU film which is a brand in India and is going to be huge, as its the final installment of this series.

Once again Ranveer would be semi-clashing with a big Hollywood film. Four times is a double coincidence. This is definitely intentional. What is Ranveer thinking?

I doubt he decides the release dates given he has no stake in producing the movie. Assuming that he does, based on the examples above it seems like he is keen to avoid clashes

Since when is releasing a week later considered a clash? Especially for front loaded movies like doctor strange and Spiderman.

RRKPK will be releasing after Salman's KBKKJ. If Bhai's film clicks well, it will end up eating Rocky Rani👎🏼

Always aim big 😂 anyways don't think he is the power position to decide release dates n stuff!
