I don't think Kashmir Files should be compared with Schindler's list or Pianist.

Both the films did speak just about the atrocities committed against Jews but they were also about the few Germans who went against Hitler and tried to save the Jewish people.

Kashmir files is all about what Pandits went through but all the Muslims in the movie were portrayed as evil. One cannot paint the whole community with one colour based on the acts of committed by some people.

In RRR the British officers were portrayed in negative shades but also a British girl was shown as positive. It was a very simplified version of characterisation but care was taken to show that human beings should be classified as good or evil based on their behaviour.

Kashmir Files did not do that. One cannot disregard the fact that it was endorsed by a right winged political party and the makers of the film endorse right wing ideas.

That is why its a propaganda movie made to suit a specific agenda......

What is this woman talking about?? Akshay was commenting on the INDIAN Army.....TKF is a movie which was run at an International film festival...of course people from other countries are going to comment on it...😆

So the narrative where terrorist falls in love with the girl and is fighting for “alleged freedom” is the correct one. La Mission Kashmir.

The narrative where Indian army is wrongly occupying Kashmir and poor boy calls old Sun temple - shaintaan ki gufaa is the correct one. La Haidar.

God forbid someone made a movie where he shows terrorists as it is. Genocide as it happened. No sympathy for perpetrators and all hell break loose.

Kamaal ke LeLis hai hamare yaha. Liberal word will jump out of dictionary and commit suicide looking at these ben peinde ke lotoos.

HMR, I've no difficulties to understand your point of view and terrorists have to be called out.

Terrorists belong to the worst group of criminals, but they kill people regardless the religion they have (not follow as Islam e.g. isn't a violent religion if not misused). There are "religious" camps in Pakistan where young Afghans are sent to get "educated" to be terrorists. And then, there were (still are?) groups like IRA and Extremists in South America (and so on). During the civil war in former Jugoslavia there were attemps of genocide, too. So yes, it's ALWAYS atrocities done by humans against humans...you just have to change the names and places (and sometimes motivation).

blue-ice, I agree that the outcome of the movie wasn't to give any JUSTICE to the Kashmiri Pandits (but it gave a lot of money to Agnihotri and a lot more hate towards Indian muslims). At least I did not got aware of any relocation or restoring of financial or territorial loss...

Actually, whatever I read about what happened to the Kashmiri Pandits, there is more behind that as "only" terrorists.
